Filters and Separators (Gas and liquid phase separation)

Two Phase Separator

A Two-Phase Separator is an industrial equipment designed to separate a fluid mixture into two different phases, usually gas and liquid. Frequently used in the oil, natural gas, petrochemical and energy sectors, these separators play a critical role for efficient process management. OVACO ENGINEERING manufactures high performance and durable two-phase separators that comply with international standards.

Function of Two-Phase Separators:

Gas-Liquid Separation:

Separates gas and liquid in a fluid mixture based on density differences.

Purification:

Removes unwanted particles and impurities from the gas and liquid phases during the separation process.

Pressure Control:

Provides constant pressure and flow management in processes.

Working Principle of Two Phase Separators:

Inlet:

The mixture enters the inlet section of the separator.

Separation Zone:

Gas and liquid are separated based on density difference.

The gas is discharged through the upper outlet, while the liquid accumulates in the lower chamber.

Outlet:

The separated gas and liquid are discharged in different directions through the respective outlets.

Three Phase Separator

A Three-Phase Separator is a piece of equipment used to separate a fluid mixture into three different phases - gas, liquid (oil or hydrocarbon), and water. Widely used in the oil, natural gas and petrochemical industry, this equipment plays a critical role in production processes. OVACO ENGINEERING manufactures high performance and durable three phase separators in accordance with international standards.

Function of Three-Phase Separators:

Gas-Liquid Separation:

Separates the gas phase from the mixture and discharges the gas.

Hydrocarbon-Water Separation:

Separates liquid phases (oil and water) based on density difference.

Purification:

Fulfills process requirements by separately purifying gas, water and oil phases.

Working Principle of Three Phase Separators:

Inlet:

The mixture enters the inlet section of the separator and the flow is slowed down with the help of speed reducers.

Gas Separation:

The gas, being less dense, goes upwards and is discharged through the gas outlet.

Separation of Liquid Phases:

Water accumulates at the bottom because it has a higher density.

The oil or hydrocarbon phase is located above the water.

Outlet:

Each phase is removed from the system separately through special discharge points.

Çok Fazlı Separator

A Multiphase Separator is an industrial equipment designed to separate a fluid mixture into multiple phases - usually gas, liquid (hydrocarbon and water), and solid. These separators play a critical role in separating complex fluid mixtures, especially in oil and gas production fields. OVACO ENGINEERING provides reliable solutions to its customers by manufacturing high performance and durable multiphase separators.

Function of Multiphase Separator:

Gas-Liquid-Solid Separation:

Separates gas, liquid and solid phases in the fluid mixture.

Process Purification:

Ensures that the separated phases are purified in accordance with process requirements.

Pressure and Flow Management:

Ensures constant pressure and regular flow in the systems.

Working Principle:

Inlet:

The fluid mixture is taken in from the inlet point of the separator.

Phase Separation:

Solid Phase: Solids with the highest density accumulate at the bottom under the influence of gravity.

Liquid Phase: The liquid phase (hydrocarbon and water) is divided into two separate layers depending on the density difference.

Gas Phase: Gas rises to the top as the phase with the lowest density.

Phase Outlet:

Each separated phase is discharged into the process system through its own outlet.

Liquid-Gas Separator

Liquid-Gas Separator is equipment designed to separate liquid and gas mixtures. These devices separate unwanted liquid droplets (mist) in the gas or gas bubbles in the liquid stream, allowing systems to operate more efficiently and safely. OVACO ENGINEERING leads the industry in the design and manufacture of high performance and durable liquid-gas separators.

Function of Liquid-Gas Separator:

Liquid Removal from Gas:

Removes unwanted liquid droplets carried in the gas line.

Gas Removal from Liquid:

Removes air or gas bubbles in the liquid stream.

Improving Process Efficiency:

Provides purified gas and liquid flow, thus improving the performance of downstream equipment.

Equipment Protection:

Protects equipment such as pumps, compressors and turbines from liquid or gas contamination.

Working Principle:

Inlet:

The liquid and gas mixture is taken into the system from the inlet of the separator.

Separation Zone:

Density Difference: Gas and liquid are naturally separated according to the density difference.

Gravity and Centrifugal Force: These forces are utilized for more effective separation.

Outlet of Phases (Outlet):

Gas is discharged from the upper outlet; liquid is taken from the lower chamber.

Koalesor

A coalescer is a specialized filtration equipment used to separate different phases from liquid or gaseous fluids, usually liquid-liquid (e.g. water and hydrocarbon) or gas-liquid (e.g. liquid droplets in gas) phases. Coalescers coalesce microscopic droplets or particles into larger droplets, making separation easier. OVACO ENGINEERING designs and manufactures innovative and reliable coalescers for industrial needs.

Function of Coalescers:

Phase Separation:

Separates liquid droplets from gas or unwanted water or oil phase from liquid.

Purification:

Protects equipment and systems by removing unwanted components from the process stream.

Efficiency Improvement:

Improves the performance of the system thanks to purified fluids.

Environmental Protection:

Separation of waste and prevention of its release into the environment.

Working Principle:

Coalescing of Micro Droplets:

The coalescer increases the surface area of small droplets in the fluid.

Droplet Growth:

Due to surface tension and filtration material, small droplets coalesce to form larger droplets.

Phase Separation:

The growing droplets are separated by gravity or central escape force and collected in a different compartment.
